Itinerary Details :

1st Day : Marrakech, High Atlas Mountains,Ait Benhaddou Ouarzazate, Dades Valley

Drive Marrakech to Ait BenHaddou, via the Ounila Valley. Traverse the High Atlas mountains via the highest main road pass in Morocco, at 2260m altitude, offering stunning views and exhilarating driving. The route passes lush valleys and traditional adobe Berber villages. After the pass, leave the main route to reach Ait Benhaddou, the UNESCO world heritage site, which falls on the way and is a famous spot with movies like “Lawrence of Arabia” and “Jesus of Nazareth” shot in this location.

Walk across the river to visit the fortified Kasbah, situated atop the hill. Continue towards Ouarzazate through the Skoura palm grove and the Valley of the Roses. This valley is the center of Moroccan roses and rose products. Travel through the strange rock creation of Tamnalt Hills and Dades gorge, carved by the Dades River for centuries, before enjoying a mystical night right at the heart of the gorge.

2nd Day : Dades Valley, Todra Valley, Old Irrigation System, Sahara Desert

On the second day of your desert tour, another gorge named Todra awaits you with the roads through the Berber village and Dades valley. You can trek the canyons, which are around 300m high and a favorite place for mountain climbers. Once finished, with the trekking, head towards the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga Lunch somewhere.

Trekking for 1 hours on camelback, you will arrive at camp, but not before seeing one of the most breathtaking sunsets of your life over the Sahara dunes. Sleep under the stars in a desert tent after an evening of tagine and Berber music.

3rd Day : Sahara Desert Khamlia Village, Rissani, Camel Trekking To Desert Camp

Wake and break your fast and discover this beautiful town on the rim of the Sahara Desert. Visit the local fossils center followed by the ancient city of Rissani – birthplace of the ruling Alawite Dynasty of Morocco and Price Moulay er Rachid of Morocco, second in line for the throne.

With tours available, Rissani is a place out of another era – exploring this fabulous Moroccan cultural destination boasting beautiful examples of early national architectural styles and breath-taking palaces and temples including Ksar Oulad Abdelhalim. Get to know the local Saharan people a bit better – easily spotted thanks to their traditional and distinctive indigo robes.

Then, visit Khamlia village in the shadows of Erg Chebbi – the largest sand desert in Morocco – and listen to Gnaoua music – an ancient African Islamic repertoire of religious songs, something

you won’t find in any other region on Earth. Later in the afternoon, our desert tours team will help you saddle up your camels for a trip across the sands during sunset to a nomadic camp in the dunes of Erg Chebbi, where you’ll be spending the night. Experience traditional music from the 5000 year-old Berber culture light only by the moon and a night sky full of stars. Unforgettable.

4th Day : Desert Camp To Fez

On the last day of your 4 day Marrakech to Fes desert tour, make sure you wake up as early as possible to enjoy desert sunrise at its best over the huge sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. This is, by all means, the best moment of the Merzouga desert.

After you have changed your clothes and finished breakfast, the journey towards Fes will start through the Ziz Valley gorge and Azrou. On the way, the views of lush green cedar forests, along with numerous monkeys on the trees, will keep you entertained. In the evening, you will be dropped at your hotel.
