Itinerary Details :
1st Day : Marrakech, High Atlas Mountains,Ait Benhaddou Ouarzazate, Dades Valley
Drive Marrakech to Ait Ben Haddou, via the Ounila Valley. Traverse the High Atlas mountains via the highest main road pass in Morocco, at 2260m altitude, offering stunning views and exhilarating driving. The route passes lush valleys and traditional adobe Berber villages.
After the pass, We follow the beautiful Ounila Valley to reach the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou. Visit this fortified village – essentially a living museum, it is a ksar comprising numerous dwellings, and for years used as the backdrop in many international films.Overnight in Dades Valley at a charming guest-house.
2nd Day : Full-Day Trekking in The Almond Valley Or Dades Valley
After a traditional breakfast, you’ll start your trekking in Dades valley to enjoy one of the most beautiful scenic views in the valley and get to interact with the berber lifestyle . Later on , enjoy your lunch with the berber family. then your guide will take you to the dades gorges which runs through the most beautiful canyon in the Atlas Mountains. The day draws to a close as you get back at your accommodation in the early evening.
3rd Day : Dades Valley, Todra Gorges, Traditional Irrigation system, Desert Camp
Setting off in the morning, you will travel through a rocky landscape of ‘regs’ – tables and mesas resembling the southwest region of the United States. From there we’ll head straight to the dunes of Merzouga, the launching place of many Sahara excursions in Morocco.
Here you’ll find your camels and guides waiting to take you on one of the world’s most beautiful desert trips. Trekking for 1 hours on camelback, you will arrive at camp, but not before seeing one of the most breathtaking sunsets of your life over the Sahara dunes. Sleep under the stars in a desert tent after an evening of tagine and Berber music.
4th Day : Desert Camp, Rissani, Draa Valley, Ouarzazate
Wake early to admire the desert sunrise, take breakfast, then transfer out of the dunes by camel-back to rejoin your vehicle to take the road to Fes (or if you are traveling by 4×4, you can be collected at the camp). Then we drive to Rissani , a region of verdant date palms bordering the Sahara.
This region, of historical importance, once marked the crossroads of the West African caravan routes and it is the origin of the establishment of the Alaouite dynasty (17th Century), the dynasty that still holds power in Morocco today. You will have a half day exploring the area, Lunch somewhere. Then we will head back to ouarzazate through the draa valley. Overnight in Ouarzazate in a charming guesthouse including dinner and breakfast.

5th Day : Ouarzazate, Telouat, Marrakech
Today, you’ll drive from Ouarzazate to Marrakech via the anti-Atlas Mountains visiting one of the remaining kasbahs that stand at the edge of Tichka Pass, Telouet (for the Kasbah Glaoui) and then. Your guide will drop you off at your accommodation in Marrakech.

Tissues, wet-wipes, small towel;
A small, sealable plastic bag to protect phones and camera from desert dust; Sun protection (cream, hat, sunglasses, scarf for the neck);
Trekking sandals (with socks) or trainers for the desert – we advise against walking boots; Canvas walking shoes or canvas boots for the mountains (for the foothills, even trainers) – we advise against heavy leather walking boots;
A fleece or jacket for the desert evenings – bear in mind with the heat of the sun in the daytime, it will feel cold at night by comparison (December – February particularly so) – however, a campfire is always lit;
Comfortable, loose clothing in the day, especially for the driving days in the car – pack clothing that you can layer easily and don’t mind getting a bit dusty (unless you plan to visit very upmarket restaurants/hotel bars you won’t need to dress formally in the cities);

There is no wifi service in the Sahara desert. If you have an urgent need to stay connected you should buy a SIM card from network operator Orange. You should be able to find an Orange outlet in the Marrakech medina on Boulevard Mohamed V, or near the Place Ferblantiers. Alternatively at the Almazar shopping center which is out of town.
